Congratulations, Raju. It is a bold step you are taking, to start an on-line Newspaper to cater to the aspirations and needs of our Malayalee community. You are carrying on the traditions of the Sankarathil family in the communications media namely, magazine, photography and video, and newspaper publication. When Mr. Chacko Sankarathil published the Regini magazine in early 1980’s, it was very popular in those days among our Malayalee families in the Philadelphia region. Chackochan and I have been friends through our Church congregation from the time he moved to Philadelphia. His unexpected passing away at the prime of his life was a great loss for the literary freedom and interest of the Malayalees. It is apt that you are carrying that mantle to serve the community through this new venture. Your command of the language certainly will help flourish your new venture. I see you as an adventurous person, who does not give up anything that you start, to serve the community. I have had the opportunity to come to know you closely for the past two decades, through your commitment to help us in many fields including photography and other services. I wish you great success as you start the publication of this newspaper.
